Shaker Hill Granite was founded in 1994  I personally wanted a better life for my wife Lauri and myself and saw an opportunity working with granite.  My theory was that if I learned all I could about the products and installed them in a professional manner while charging a fair price then we would stay busy.  This has proven to be simple but very successful recipe.  We have controlled our growth every year, not to become to big too fast. In 2000 Shaker Hill Granite turned down an offer to provided solid surfaces for a major home improvement chain in which we would service 11 stores.  

It is important to have the best employees that work for a common goal.  Our commitment to a family atmosphere in the workplace is the key to our success.  As a business owner I feel very lucky to have the staff that is at Shaker Hill Granite who takes such pride in their work.    The true difference between our company and others is we firmly believe our clients are number one and no job is too big or too small.  We take great pride in every job we do and focus on quality not quantity.  We believe there is nothing better than seeing the smile on our clients faces when they are looking at the final product.
